Enchanting Baroque Music is an important part of human beings. Human beings have used music as one way of expressing their feelings, emotions and desires since time began. Music has developed into various kinds, among them is classical music, which remains popular. Moreover classical music is believed to have a positive influence on the development of a human’s level of intelligence and emotions. Enchanting Baroque, a choral and orchestral concert which will be presented by Parahyangan Catholic University Choir, is part of the routine concert programme held annually by this choir. This excellent performance is a means for classical music lovers in Indonesia to develop their appreciation of both choral and orchestral music. Unpar Choir in Enchanting Baroque will present difficult yet enchanting pieces written for choir and orchestra, by two German composers from the Baroque Era, Bach and Händel. It is expected to give a different nuance to classical music in Indonesia, especially among choral and orchestral, classical music lovers. |
